Biography


Jonny earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Jackson School of International Studies, University of Washington and a Juris Doctorate degree from Seattle University School of Law. 


Previously Jonny was the executive director of two state and national family violence centers and was a speaker and trainer on issues of domestic violence and sexual assault. Author of the the unpublished book Twice Beaten – about a survivor of a violent marriage and a complex and inefficient legal system. 


For community service Jonny has been on boards of directors and assisted with the development of school anti bullying programs and improved law enforcement response to domestic violence calls. She has participated in training for Judges and Prosecutors in the area of improved domestic violence and sexual assault response and conviction. 


Jonny traded her non profit grant writing and management skills and transitioned to the business side of the legal profession in 2001. For the past 15 years she has been a consultant to attorneys and lawyers and other small businesses in the area of business development, improving delivery of legal services. 



Jonny believes people must be informed about their transactions, with their lawyers, accountants, real estate professionals and that knowledge is power.  DocuPrep strives to provide that transparency to people whether working with an attorney or without an attorney. DocuPrep is an extension of her years in business development. Working to bridge the gap and work with attorneys and individuals to provide support services. 


On a personal note, Jonny is a mother of four boys, grandmother to three perfect grand children, beagle mom to Miles and kitty mom to Oreo who is the boss of everything. Lover of coffee and cake. When not working Jonny enjoys tennis, cooking and loves to bake vintage recipes, and writing mysteries.
